Introducing Caro Chiropractor Dr. Mark White

"I was in the medical program at the university when my fiance called and asked me to take her to the Chiropractor" recalls Dr. White. "She was in tears with a severe migraine."
"That day at the chiropractor changed my career. When I saw the girl I love walk into the office in excrutiating pain, and walk out with a smile on her face and no pain, I had to find out what happened. I was in the medical program at the university because I wanted to help people. If I could help people like this doctor helped my fiance', then that's the career I wanted."
Dr. White began his pre-chiropractic education at Christopher Newport University where he studied the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with basic physiology and anatomy courses. After completing his study there, he was accepted at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During his four years at Palmer, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Palmer College Public Clinic. After graduating in 1986 Dr. White returned to Michigan to establish his practice.
"I love doing for my patients what that Chiropractor did for my fiance," smiles Dr. White. "Nothing feels so good as seeing my patients walk out the door with a smile on their face when they came in feeling so bad." In addition to making a high priority of bringing fast relief to his patients, Dr. White also says, "Doctor means teacher, and educating my patients is another very enjoyable part of my job. I teach my patients how to use simple health principles to reach their own health goals."
Dr. White is married to Darcy and they have eight children; Matthew, Summer, Jonathan, Isaac, Serena, Daniel, Joseph and Benjamin. Many of the children were born at home and none of them have ever been vaccinated or received an antibiotic. (If that sounds interesting, be sure to ask Dr. White to explain!)
Dr. White is a health enthusiast. He gives health lectures for the Natural Lifestyle Center in Gagetown, as well as area universities and community groups. He enjoys his wife's vegetarian cooking, runs regularly (ran in the Detroit Marathon twice), and enjoys playing on the trampoline with his children.
"Enough about me!" says Dr. White, "Let's talk about you now. What are your health problems, concerns or goals? We'd like to put a smile on your face today. Give us a call."
